A perfect windows system will open and show us the contents of the corresponding when we double click on the drive but sometimes, due to error in windows or because of virus, it may open Search or defragment option in windows explorer always. Techspace has a solution for this problem and is given below.
Solution
- Open run or use shortcut by pressing Windows+r keys on keyboard.
- Type regedit
- Browse down to
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
- Double-click on the default and set it to none as shown below.
- Now open command prompt and type
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
That's it. Problem solved.
