Windows 8 is the next major release of Microsoft and Windows 7 is the successfully running OS in most of the computers today. The one who is interested in changing the Start button of Windows 7 to make it look as Windows 8 start button, then below are the steps to carry on.
Steps:-
- Download this Windows 8 metro pack from here.
- Extract the .zip file you downloaded.
- Now download Windows 7 Start Orb Changer utility from here and extract this file.
- Open Windows 7 Start Orb Changer utility and then click on Change button and browse to Windows 8 metro pack extracted folder and select big.bmp.
This will automatically replace the old Start button with new button. Once done, you will see “The Start orb has been changed successfully” message.
