Google Swiffy - Flash to HTML5 Converter
Google has launched its new service called Google Swiffy in the labs. Google was constantly involved in development of HTML5. HTML5 was revolutionary and has so many new capabilities that the flash contents are no longer needed as these can be coded using HTML5 tags along with some JavaScript. HTML5 enabled animations and interactivity in browsers and devices that did not support flash. Even the iPhone's iOS doesn't support Flash and hence HTML5 is a sigh of relief for the iPhone users.
If you have a website with lot of Flash objects and if you're worried of the new HTML5 invasion, then you don't have to worry anymore. Answer is Google Swiffy. Google Swiffy is a flash to HTML5 converter. It is still in its early version and hence not yet ready to convert complicated SWFs (flash files) to HTML5 and it may take some time for it to convert flash games and programs. But you can easily convert simple banners and animations that you have in SWF formats. Just upload the SWF file and get the HTML code. By converting SWF to HTML5, you can make your website view-able on any browser that supports SVG, JavaScript and CSS3.
The link to Swiffy is -

I just wish this comes out of the labs as a fully fledged SWF-to-HTML5 converter.
Google+ released today! Can it beat Facebook?
Google+ is the latest social networking from Google. It is hard to believe that it is from the 'makers of orkut' which has repeatedly failed (in a perpetual fail mode) in the past few years. It has all the features I wanted. It connects your Internet life. Be it Gmail, Google Reader, Picasa, Blogger or the Google Docs, you have it all at one place.
The interface totally rocks. It supports features like Circles, Hangouts, Sparks and much more. Circles are to arrange your contacts, keep your friends stay away from your bosses. You have complete and easy control over what you share, who can view it and what you want comments on. Sparks ignite a spark in you. It makes available to you, thousands of articles and other web stuff for you to read on. Once you fill your topic of interest, the google will pick up stuff from the web and spark your page content to read and share.
Google hangouts are the next coolest thing. They're like the groups on facebook. You can start a hangout and invite people to join it. You can have video conferencing with multiple people at a time, if you wish to. This probably makes it the only social network that allows video chat (of course next to orkut, haunted now). Photo uploading and sharing is very simple and very fast.
Google + has notifications, way of sharing things, the home page and most of other things similar to facebook that people have already tagged Google + as 'facebookish'. But it is still beautifully presented. The way things have been spread around are neat. Nothing has been overdone like they did with the Orkut ( the like thing of facebook imitated in orkut is an example of overdoing things ).

Well google has still give a green signal to the Google apps and other applications like that on facebook. Once they're out, it is sure to beat facebook. What is your view?

We all set password for security purpose and there is a chance of forgetting that password. Well, if we forget the password which we have set in some websites, we can reset it by clicking of Forgot Password Option but if we forget Windows login password, then it is not possible to login or to reset password directly.
This is the situation where we get frustrated and do something for our computer and end up having a severe problem. Just for one simple task of resetting the password, we will get into severe problem. Here is a solution to reset the password.
Solutions to reset the password :-
- Install chntpw. You can install it from repository.
- Open or mount Windows OS installed drive (Say C:\ )
- Now go to C:\Windows\System 32\config

Solution for "There are no active mixer devices available" error
We never know when windows operating system starts to give problems. It will be working fine but right after system restart, it will start to give problem. This is a major problem of windows OS.
In the same way, i just switched on the system and browsed for a while then turned it off. After a while when i came and switched it on, sound was not activated. There were no system sounds, i was not able to play songs and etc... Then i re-installed my system drivers by thinking that the problem was with sound drivers. But i was wrong. The problem was with windows instability and bugs. Then i thought for while and ended up by a working solution.
Solution goes like this :-
- Go to run or shortcut Ctrl+R.
- Type services.msc
- Find Windows Audio and then right click on it and select Properties.
- In General tab, check whether the service is Started or not. If stopped, then click on Start button.
- Now go to Recovery tab and select "Restart the service" in all 3 fields namely First failure, Second Failure, Subsequent Failures.
- Click on Apply and OK.
That's it :)

India's 35$ Laptop finally out!
India's much awaited 35$ tablet is finally being released. The challenge the IITians took to build this cheapest tablet has been fruitful. Indian government has decided to provide this tablet to Students at a subsidized rate of Rs.1100 and for the general public for a cost of Rs.2200. It is cheaper anyway.
Called as Sakshat Tablet, it features -
7 inch touch screen
2 GB RAM
Wifi and USB Connectivity
32 GB HD space
Android OS
VGA Camera to support video calling
Multimedia capability
Even though the release is close, the company has not disclosed any information regarding the processor speed or the version of Android it will support. The tablets will be distributed by the HRD ministry through institutions.
A 7 inch tablet for a price of Rs.2200 looks very reasonable and worth buying if you are looking for a cheap handy tool to keep your notes. A low price will have its take. But since it is built by the IITians who have amazed indians for decades, you cannot really predict anything until the tablets are out for sale.
I just wish this move by the HRD ministry really help the technology & education sectors in India.
