Philips Xenium X806 Dual Sim

Philips phones are probably not so popular in India but it does compete for its share in European and Russian Market. Philips mobiles are known for their exceptional battery life. After a long time Philips is releasing a touch phone in India. Little late to the market but strong enough as it claims a battery life of 1 month in stand-by mode. The phone will be released on 7th September 2011.

• Support for mp3, wma, wav, h.263, h.264 and mp4.

The phone is expected to cost around Rs. 10,000. Undoubtedly overpriced. Let us just wait and see for its actual price.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Schedule Released

Ubuntu's Long Term Support edition 12.04 has released the schedule of releases on the wiki page. Ubuntu 12.04 's code name is not decided yet. The schedules say -

Alpha 1 Release - 1st December 2011

Alpha 2 Release - 2nd February 2012

Beta 1 Release - 1st March 2012

Beta 2 Release - 22nd March 2012

Release Candidate - 19th April 2012

Google has just announced the release of its new version of Android Market which is the version 3.0.26. Google said the new Android market will be rolled out with the new devices that are going to come.
